Situated in a park mediated by polly, ‘ㅆㅆㅆ’ is a “play facility-sculpture” that expands the typology of the slide. Unlike conventional slides, where the entrance and exit are fixed, this structure loops the entrance and exit together, and instead of waiting in line to ride alone, multiple children can use it simultaneously. The interconnected understructure crosses three-dimensionally from every angle, creating a dynamic visual effect and inducing diverse spatial experiences. In this space where the rules taken for granted are twisted, children are encouraged to discover new experiences for themselves through play.
폴리를 매개로 한 공원에 자리한 ‘ㅆㅆㅆ’은 미끄럼틀의 유형을 확장한 ‘놀이 시설-조형물’이다. 오르는 입구와 내려오는 출구가 정해진 기존 미끄럼틀과 달리, 이 구조물은 입구와 출구가 꼬리를 물고 있으며, 순서를 기다려 혼자 타는 대신 여럿이 동시에 이용할 수 있다. 연결된 구조물의 하부는 어느 각도에서 보더라도 입체적으로 교차해 역동적인 시각적 효과를 만들고, 다양한 공간적 경험을 이끌어낸다. 당연하게 여겨지는 규칙이 비틀어진 이 공간에서 아이들이 놀이를 통해 스스로 새로운 경험을 찾아가길 기대한다.
